Eligibility Criteria
Prerequisite for NDDY (Intermediate-Second Year) Examination
Candidates can only take the NDDY (Intermediate-Second Year) examination after successfully qualifying for the NDDY (Previous) test.
Direct Admission for Medical and Health Science Graduates
Candidates who have passed an examination recognised by the Central or State Government as regular students in MBBS, BAMS, BUMS, Physiotherapy (Degree Course), BPED (Degree Course), B. Pharma, B. Sc (Nursing) courses, BHMS (4-Year course), BDS (4-Year course), and BDS institutional course can seek direct admission to the NDDY Intermediate (2nd year) examination.
However, these candidates will be required to take an additional paper on "Principles of Nature Cure, Mud Therapy, Natural Environment, etc." prescribed for the first year of the NDDY course. It should be noted that such candidates can, at their own risk, fill up the application form for the next Third Year session of NDDY even before the announcement of their results. However, permission to appear in the Third Year examination will only be granted upon passing the Second Year examination.
